- Carson Palmer (27/32 269yds 1/0) looked good even with the sore elbow. His passes were crisp and on point aside from one or two underthrown balls twenty yards down field. Palmer wasn't under too much pressure, only being sacked one time.
- It was good to see the offensive line play well as a whole. This unit cohesion is something they haven't had the last few seasons and it seems to be really paying off now.
- Clearly the game plan was get the ball to Fitzgerald. Fitz who was targeted 12 times caught every pass thrown his way (12 receptions for 96yds and a TD).Janoris Jenkins of the rams played man close defense the whole game and did disrupt a few bubble screens throw Fitz' way.
- After a miserable game against the Eagles Sebastion Zastudil came out today on fire. He pinned the rams within their own twenty on three occasions and two of those put the Rams at their own one.
- What can I say that hasn't already been said about this defense? John Abraham continues on his tear with three more sacks and one for a safety. Those three sacks move him to 9th on the all-time list. Calais Campbell pressured Kelly Clemens all day which eventually led to a hit which resulted in Karlos Dansby intercepting a pass for a TD. Rashad Johnson came in following Mathieu's injury and intercepted a pass of his own.
Other notes: Both Andre Ellington and Rashard Mendenhall scored a Touchdown today. Jim Dray had a sure touchdown but fumbled at the goal line resulting in a touchback. Coach Arians should be happy with the refs this week. It seemed just about every penalty went the Cardinals way. The Rams had 11 penalties for 90yds while the Cardinals had 6 for 31.When the Cardinals wear there all red uniforms they are now 14-3 and have won 8 straight games. The Rams 5-8 are officially eliminated from the playoffs. The Cardinals travel to Tennessee next week to take on the 5-8 Titans.
