Do uniforms make a difference? If you ask anyone on the Cardinals they would say emphatically YES. Whenever a new uniform is introduced you always hear it will give a team a boost. Well with the Cardinals all red uniforms this is true. As my friends over at Uniwatch call these all red uniforms the blood clots, an amazing statistic is unfolding. While wearing these all red uniforms the Arizona Cardinals are an outstanding14-3 and have won 8 straight games to date. Having just debuted this specific uniform set in 2005 it boasts and impressive record. The third uniform set the Cardinals have is the Black alternate. This uniform debuted in 2010, going 0-3 before its first win. Since the 0-3 start the team has fared much better in the third alt. Winners of their last 2 games and boasting a 3-1 record in them over the last 2 years. Even though sitting at 4-4 isn't that impressive, when you look at the record of the everyday uniform it is. The other 119 games played in the normal uniform (Red top white bottom for home, white top red bottom for road) set can speak for themselves. Not including playoffs the normal set is 42-71 that's a .352 winning percentage. While this uniform's record has been around with some bad teams it is a consistently losing uniform throughout. Maybe they should consider switching to the blood clot uniforms full time.
