-The defense had a lot of stupid penalties today, with what happened at the end of the 4th the team took a step back I think.
-Carson Palmer (20-31 1TD/0INT) didn't have his best game of the year but he was effective enough to get the win. The offensive line consistently gave Carson enough time to put the ball out there, only giving up 2 sacks the entire game and one of those was a meaningless play.
-Its pretty apparent that the level of play that Tyrann Mathieu brought to games cannot be matched by any of the other DB's on the team. An example of this was the first second half drive that the Titans had. On that drive there were 3 penalties called on DB's both resulting in first downs and an overall result of a TD on that drive.
-We are still having trouble containing the TE. even though it seemed like Delanie Walker(8-53yds 1TD) wasn't having a productive game, he was running wide open on multiple plays.
-Michael Floyd has now caught 24 passes for 24 first downs. That's now the longest streak in the NFL.
-What a lucky break the cardinals got when Patrick Bailey dropped the second half kick off, which the Cardinals recovered. Though they could not capitalize on it since they only kicked a field goal. Special teams other than that had some issues.
After having a kick blocked and missing his field goals last week Jay feely went 3-3 including the 41yd game winner.
-Andre Ellington (10ATT for 71YDs, 4 REC for 87YDS) had another spectacular outing . I'd say if the Cardinals do not resign Mendenhall this offseason he will be the starter next year. Despite Rashard Mendenhall's 2TD runs I still think he has been very ineffective overall this year.
-Bruce Arians has the 2nd best start by a Cardinals' head coach in the history of the team now. You have to go all the way back to 1925 when Norman Berry went 11-2-1 to have a better start.
Notes-Jake Ballard caught his first TD as a Cardinal with 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Antoine Cason had his first pick six and 2 int's with A. The Cardinals have now won 9 games in a season for only the 5th time in 26 years. Arizona (9-5) travels to Seattle (12-4) to take on the Seahawks in another do or die matchup next week.
Injury Notes: UPDATE (8:12pm mountain time ) Larry Fitzgerald suffered a concussion on the onside kick recovered by the Titans with 40 seconds left in the 4th.
