- Run the ball effectively. If Andre Ellington can work the ball like he did last week against Tennessee it should open up running lanes for Mendenhall while also pressuring the Seattle secondary to stack the box.
- Errorless football. Saying that is easy enough be acting it out will be the hard part. Seattle is coming off of a feasting in New York. Carson Palmer must not regress this week if this team wants to make it to the post season tournament.
- Lock down defense. Yes the Mathieu loss showed how much it really hurt last week. Arizona now has the 7th ranked overall defense and 1st ranked rush defense. Stop Lynch and you solve half of the equation. John Abraham needs to put pressure on Wilson and make sure they tackle him this time.
-Keep Lynch out of beast mode. The run defense has been stellar this year and needs to continue that way. The Cardinal's are a much better team than when these two teams played on Thursday night football back in October.
If the Cardinals lose and the Panthers win even at 10-6 they will not make the playoffs due to tiebreakers.
Notes: Larry Fitzgerald is expected to play even though he has not practiced most of the week. The concussion he received is only thought to be of a "mild" variety. Rashad Johnson will be out meaning that third string tony Jefferson will be in.
