Arizona has the hardest 2 games of any remaining playoff hopeful. This weekend they travel to Seattle (12-2) and next week they play what could be a win and your in game against SF (10-4) at home.
Carolina plays the Saints at home and end the season on the road against the hapless Falcons.
San Francisco hosts those same Falcons and then play the Cards.
The Cardinals lose all of the tiebreakers to the 49ers based on division standings. Even if they win in week 17 their division record will be 3-3 but the 49ers record will be 4-2.
The Cards hold the head to head tiebreaker with the Panthers but if its a 3 way tie the Cardinals are the short straw. In the event a 3 way tie occurs, the NFL looks to see if teams are in the same division which pushes the Cardinals out and shoots Carolina up to the 5th seed.
One scenario remains for the Cardinals to get in at 10-6. Lose in Seattle, win at home against the 49ers. Then the 49ers need to beat the Falcons and Carolina needs to lose both of there games.
As the last two weeks unfold it seems that all Cardinals fans need to change jerseys and root for the Saints and the Falcons to get the job done. Otherwise this great season will have gone to waste.
Notes: Larry Fitzgerald passed the concussion tests up to this point and is expected to play in sunday's game.
