1. Seattle Seahawks (12-2)- This team has the most terrifying secondary the league has ever seen. They also boast the NFL's best record and are the favorite to win the super bowl.
2. New Orleans Saints (10-4)- The Saints need to recover from an embarrassing loss in St. Louis. Beating the Panthers at home was easy but beating them in their house is another thing all together
.
3. Carolina Panthers (10-4)- The Panthers have a chance to take the lead in the NFC South with a win over the Saints this week. A loss and a Cardinals win would put them on the outside looking in though.
4. San Francisco 49ers (10-4)- The return of Michael Crabtree has reignited this offense that had looked stale in the past. The 49ers just keep winning.
5. Denver Broncos (11-3)- The Broncos need to re-establish their momentum for the post season. This team is probably the AFC super bowl favorite and need to act like it.
6. New England Patriots (10-4)- The Patriots had a golden opportunity to pass the Broncos but the loss of Gronk showed that Brady cant play magician every 4th quarter.
7. Kansas City Chiefs (11-3)- Jamaal Charles, Jamaal Charles and Jamaal Charles.
8. Arizona Cardinals (9-5)- This team needs some help to get into the post season. Who would have though the Cardinals would have been playing so well with another first year coach.
9. Philadelphia Eagles (9-5)- Nick Foles has now thrown an INT in 2 consecutive games and the Eagles finally looked weak against a Adrian Peterson less Vikings.
10. Cincinnati Bengals (9-5)- Suddenly the AFC North is closing in on the Bengals. The week 17 matchup against the Ravens is going to be fun!
11. Indianapolis Colts (9-5)- Having already clinched their division last week, the Colts took to beating up on the hapless Texans. Let's hope the defense can keep doing what they did this week.
12. Baltimore Ravens (8-6)- Baltimore overcame a late TD against the Lions on MNF. They really owe their win to Justin Tucker who went 6-6 with a game winning 61yard field goal.
13. Green Bay Packers (7-6-1)- Who saw this headline when the season started "Matt Flynn's Packers score 4 second half TD's against the Cowboys to win." With a win against the Steelers next week it would set up a showdown with the bears for the division.
14. Chicago Bears (8-6)- Cutler came back from injury this week a sputtered in the first half. Once he figured out how to throw the football again the Bears dominated and beat the Browns. With Detroit's MNF loss the Bears are now in control of the NFC North.
15. San Diego Chargers (7-7)- They took down King Manning and the Broncos this week and that means they still have playoff hopes.
16.Detroit Lions (7-7)- A crushing loss to Baltimore on MNF. Stafford is the turnover king of late with another 3 INT game.
17. Miami Dolphins (8-6)- They would be ranked higher after taking down the Pats but too many other teams around them won. Tannehill clicked this week and showed the NFL he can be effective, now they just have to hope he stays at that level.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-8)-If only the Steelers were this consistent every week they would be a scary team to contend with.
19. Dallas Cowboys (7-7)- The New York Mets of the NFL, you can count on Romo and the boys to implode when it counts.
20. St. Louis Rams (6-8)- Who really expected the Rams to come out and punch the Saints in the mouth?
21. New York Jets (6-8)- despite a somewhat decent record this team just flat out isn't ready to play with the big boys.
22. New York Giants (5-9)- The giants laid a goose egg against the Seahawks this week and the younger Manning regressed quite a bit. This team needs the Coughlin terror put back into them assuming he returns.
23. Minnesota Vikings (4-9-1)- They finally showed they could win a game without AP. Despite the strong outing Leslie Frazier should start putting feelers out about new coaching options.
24. Buffalo Bills (5-9)- The Bills have 2014 to look foreword to considering they will have a top 10 draft pick.
25. Tennessee Titans (5-9)- Mike Munchak very well may be coaching for his job after reports this week. Until this team gets a solid QB or Locker stays healthy they wont get very far.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-10)- The loss to the 49ers was tough, this team has looked great despite the early season turmoil. Mike Glennon is coming into his own and at points he looks like he is polishing up.
27. Cleveland Browns (4-10)- With this weeks loss that now makes is 6 straight years with 10 or more losses. Unfortunately that streak could hit 10 years before they improve at all.
28. Atlanta Falcons (4-10)- The Falcons actually looked impressive and were able to hold on and win the game 27-26 but they were playing the Redskins.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-10)- The Jags put up a good fight this week but this loss doesn't really hurt them but rather it solidifies a good draft position.
30. Oakland Raiders (4-10)- You just got beat down by the Chiefs. Don't worry though because this team should be better next year with the emerging talent all around.
31. Washington Redskins (3-10)- Mike Shanahan walked out of the press conference, Robert Griffin III is a cheerleader who thinks he will have a new coach next year. A good rebuild around either him or Kirk Cousins is needed.
32. Houston Texans (2-12) - Nothing says we give up more than only scoring 3 points on a Colts defense that has given up 40 points or more in 2 of their last 3 games. Hello #1 pick.
