The Cardinals haven't beaten the 49ers in 2 years and have gone 1-9 in the last 5. The Cardinals will be looking to change that knowing that they way to the first home team hosted super bowl runs through our division foe.
With the re-signing of Boldin, the trade for Stevie Johnson and the pick-up of Brandon Lloyd this already good receiving corps got even better. The Niners have always ran the ball down the Cardinals throats and with one of their third round draft choices they picked up Carlos Hyde who excels at power runs. While they did improve the offense, their defensive side took a hit when S Donte Whitner decided to take his talents elsewhere. Antoine Bethea was brought in to attempt to fill his shoes but he just isn't the same quality player.
As Much as it pains me I do believe this will be the first Cardinals loss of the season, though it will be a very close and hard hitting game as always.
